The dance video projection is based on the story of how a group of middle-class kids revolted against their time and started the original alternative community - Monte Verità, the mountain of truth. A community founded 1900 that was based on veganism, feminism, pacifism, art and free love.

'Dance No 1 - The Personal Is Political' is a side project of the documentary 'Freak out!' (www.freakoutmovie.org)

Carl Javér is a documentary filmmaker and co-owner of Dokumentärfilm AB who is situated in House 7b at Konstepidemin. 'Freak Out!' is produced by Fredrik Lange, owner of Vilda Bomben Film AB, also located in the same building.
