Curious about Anna Bauer. Anna's been at Konstepidemin for 5 years and she share studio space with Gill Marshall.
Anna is a textile and mixed media artist. She works with embroidery and textile collage with linoleum print, for example.
Her drawers are like treasure chests, full of fantastic vintage finds. She recently purchased the inventory from an old haberdasher store, a dream for a textile artist - indeed for many others too.
One of the things she will do this spring is to work with "Slöjdklubben / Craft club" a place for kids between 7-12 years to try different kinds of material and techniques - carve, sew, crochet, knot, bend, bend, shape, braid, paint. This will be held at Konsthallen and at Världskulturmuseet, organized by Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan.
Keep your eyes open for Seahorse Vintage & Art at Sveagatan, Anna's and Simone Henke's gallery and shop, chances are there will be a web shop in the future.
